Cape York

From Brisbane up to Mt Molloy where the journey will really start. Laura, Coen, Weipa, up the Old Telegraph Track, over many creek crossings, Elliot Falls, Jardine River up to the tip. Back down the Peninsula Development Road, detour via Lakefield National Park, along Battle Camp Road to Cooktown. From there it’s back to Laura to head down the Old Coach Road, to Maytown Gold Fields. Chillagoe, Atherton Tablelands, Charters Towers, Emerald and then the long trip back home.

Rifle Creek Rest Area, Mt Molloy - Large area, lots of trees, cold shower, dump point, dogs allowed. Non drinking bore water, which was a bit dirty looking, donation requested.
