North Creek – F, OR, D. 28 km S of Oodnadatta on the Oodnadatta Track. Not much here but peace and quite. Awesome and great scenery, lots of flies. Rating – 4

Arckaringa Homestead – T, S, OR, $. The closest place to camp to the Painted Desert. Fees apply, great bush showers, fee were very reasonable. Flat areas to camp, some shelter, check for access after rain. Rating – 4.5
