Our first stop was The Dish at Parkes, checked out all the info, Chris found it particularly interesting. We stopped at Dubbo for lunch, before heading onto Gilgandra, stopped at a lovely park with lovely autumn leaves at Coonabarabran for afternoon smoothie. Took some photos of the park before moving on through Gunnedah we have stopped about 70km out of Tamworth for the night. This is old stomping ground for us, we worked out Chris hasn’t done the run between Tamworth and Coonabarabran for approx 17 years, doesn’t seem that long.
Tomorrow we may look around Tamworth before heading up to Armidale onto Girraween National park for a few days. Plan to be home for the weekend
