Day 28 – 5th May

Brrr it was a cold night and a cold morning a diesel heater sounds like a good idea and I think if you found yourself in cold areas a lot it would be worth considering.

We packed up pretty quick and headed back along the corrugated, wet, dusty dirt road back to Mildura. We picked up a few food bits, a new frypan for my pancakes and some more yummy, Sun muskets, like sultanas only yummier.

Drove approx 28km up the Stuart highway on the NSW side then 2km dirt road in towards the Murray and have set up camp for the night on the banks of the Murray at a place called Bottle Bend Forest Reserve, free camping. Have the genie on so we will be able to put a heater on later. We will just sit back and relax for the rest of the day.
